SSRC HOSTS 2024 INNOVATIONS FOR RESEARCH-TO-INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT (I-RISE) SUMMIT 2.0
SSRC I-RISE is in initiative that brings leading steel structural stability researchers together with industry groups and professional organizations to have an open exchange about industry needs with the intent of identifying important research problems and finding researchers to quickly address those problems. I-RISE 1.0 in 2021 facilitated robust discussions and led to funded research, and I-RISE 2.0 will continue that tradition by seeking impactful new research projects that grow out of industry needs.

A meeting of the SSRC I-RiSE Initiative will take place on Monday, November 18 and Tuesday, November 19 at the Renaissance Chicago O’Hare Suites Hotel. Both meetings be held in-person, in conjunction with the AISC Task Committee Meetings. Please see all pertinent information for the I-RiSE meeting below.
